Callboard: know the faqs

Do your garments run true to size?

"True to size" is a bit tricky when it comes to babies. Many of our garments have been created with features to size up and down to lengthen the wearability. Please step into our Costume Shop and reference our Size Guide for a professional fit. All sizing is based off of body measurements, NOT garment measurements.

Will you offer more sizes?

We are eager to offer sizes beyond 3T and we will sing from the rooftops so all can hear when we do.

How do I wash First Fittings garments?

All of our fabrics are pre-washed and pre-shrunk. For red carpet results, wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or line dry for an extended run! Steam as desired. Do not bleach.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. All sales are in USD and we do not accept cryptocurrency.

Shipping?

Free shipping when you spend $100 or more. All shipments are made via USPS. Allow 5-7 business days before item is shipped.

We currently only ship within the United States, but we are looking forward to when we can offer international shipping!

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding with any shipping delays. USPS is experiencing unprecedented volume increases and limited employee availability due to the impacts of COVID-19.

What is the status of my order? How do I track my order?

You will receive a series of emails to track the status of your order.

1) Confirming your purchase

2) Confirming when the shipping label has been created and includes your USPS tracking number

3) Confirming when your order has been delivered

What if I want to return, change, or cancel my order?

Cancellations can be made within 48 hours of purchase. We do not accept cancellations once the shipping label has been created. Changes can not be made to an existing order, but you can cancel within the 48 hours and then place a new order at your leisure. We do not offer returns or exchanges at this time. If there is any fault with the garment we will of course repair or replace it for you.

Where do your materials come from?

We take great care in sourcing our materials. All our fabrics are either organic, GOTS certified, or OEKO-TEX certified, or from our very own treasure chest.

Treasure chest fabrics are special pieces we have thrifted or purchased overstock to prevent them from ending up in a landfill. These result in one of a kind garments.

Please reference the details section on a garment's listing for specifics on that particular piece.

Where are your garments made?

All of our garments are designed, cut, constructed, and packaged in NYC!

What is your packaging made of?

Our packaging is made of recyclable materials.
